The best weekend of the year! Join us for an in-town weekend retreat geared for 7th-12th grade students. It’s the perfect combination of worship, learning, growing, community building, lots of good food and tons of fun! Students stay the night in host homes of church family members, are led in Bible study by our college aged Life Group leaders, and gather for corporate worship and teaching sessions on campus at FBCO.

Special Guests

Andy Blanks - Speaker

Andy Blanks leads all the content creation for YM360 - YouthMinistry360. If it's a blog post, resource, or workshop, Andy has his hands on it (for better or worse!). In 2003 he took a gig in youth ministry publishing where his passions for God's Word and for creating intersected in a dynamic way. He was hooked.

Andy lives in Birmingham, AL with his wonderful wife Brendt, their three daughters, and one son. He's a pretty big fan of both the Boston Red Sox and anything involving the Auburn Tigers. When he's not hanging out with his family or volunteering at his church's youth ministry, you can find Andy trail running or mountain biking.
Chuck Hooten - Worship Leader

Chuck has been leading worship since he was sixteen and has been blessed with the opportunity to lead for churches, retreats, and conferences all over the world. In addition to traveling and leading the people of God in worship, Chuck is also the Worship Pastor at Shoreline Church in Knoxville Tennessee. He has released three solo albums and loves writing songs that the people of God can use to see and savor Jesus.

Chuck and his wife Emily love the outdoors, sports, taking walks with their girls, and acting out movie scenes to see who would be the best actor (ongoing debate). They believe that the local church is the means by which Jesus is infusing his gospel into a world that desperately needs to hear that God is love and that he has given that love through his son, Jesus.
Atang Agwe - Spoken Word Artist

Atang Agwe is a soon-to-be Journalism graduate of Liberty University in May 2019. She was born in Acha-Tugi, Cameroon and has been living in the U.S. since ‘99. Atang loves Jesus, laughing, preaching, photography and spoken word poetry. She began writing and ministering poetry in March of 2016 and started a spoken word YouTube channel called LipsOfLove in September of that same year.

After working as a stage host with Student Life during the summer of 2018, she decided to pursue spoken word full time. Atang hopes to see her generation creatively, shamelessly and relentlessly live for Jesus in the midst of a society that tells them to do the very opposite. She also really loves memes so feel free to send her some.
