Special Guests

Chuck Hooten

Camp Speaker
Chuck is a familiar face within our Student Ministry. He has led worship for us at several events in the past. Not only is Chuck a gifted worship leader, but also a great communicator and Bible teacher.  Chuck is the Worship & Theology Pastor at Shoreline Church in Knoxville Tennessee.

Chuck and his wife Emily love the outdoors, sports, taking walks with their girls, and acting out movie scenes to see who would be the best actor (ongoing debate). They believe that the local church is the means by which Jesus is infusing his gospel into a world that desperately needs to hear that God is love and that he has given that love through his son, Jesus.

John McCullough

Worship Leader
I am the worship pastor at East Cobb Church. I have two kids, Emerson (6) and Amelia (2).  My wife is Amy and she is amazing, duh.  I love playing golf and going to the movies.

EB Cole

Worship Leader
I am a  worship leader at lots of churches.  I have been married to my husband Shane for 5 years, who is also a musician. We love traveling and making music together as well as spending time hanging out with our friends at home in Nashville.

What You'll Experience

We are unashamed about our number one goal for camp. We want you to experience the love of Jesus.
Because once you do, you're forever changed.

The students and adults that make up FBCO Students are some of the most incredible people on the planet. We want you to be part of this community.

We have amazing times of worship through teaching, music, small group bible studies, and just enjoying the beauty of God's creation.

Swag Bags

Make sure you are registered by May 6, 2020 so that you will receive one of our awesome Swag Bags filled with cool stuff for Summer Camp. They will be delivered to your house before camp!

Late Night

Each night we have a giant party. Everyone dresses up to match the theme and we play a ton of games.

Get ready for a week of non stop fun. White water rafting. High ropes. Wave pool. Paintball. Zip lines.

Camp Cost

The cost for the week is $400. This includes all meals, charter bus transportation, camp costs, t-shirt, recreation, and supplies. We have two early discount registration periods. If students are registered with their $50 deposit paid by February 2, 2020, they receive a $50 discount ($350 total cost). If a student registers and pays their $50 deposit before May 6 they receive a $25 discount ($375 total).

We do our absolute best to keep camp costs as low as possible. The actual cost of camp is much more than $400 per student, but we offset the cost with budget money and the gifts of generous scholarships. If money is an issue, please let us know. We don’t want money to keep anyone from attending camp. We will find a way to make it happen!

Multi Child Discount

It can get expensive to send multiple kids to camp. We provide multi child discount to help offset some of the cost. Students must have same parent / guardian to receive the discount.

First Student: Full Price
Second Student: $50 off
Third Student: $100 off
Fourth Student: Free

More Details

Parent Meeting

We will have a parent meeting on Sunday, June 28 at 4:00pm. It will take place in the 3:16 Center at FBCO. We will collect all final payments & forms, and answer any questions you have.

Camp Schedule

We will post the daily schedule closer to the actual dates of camp.  Tentatively our departure time will be 12:00pm on July 8 and we will return around 2:00pm on July 12.

The camp has bunkhouses with individual rooms. Each room has 16 bunkbeds and private bathrooms & showers. There are at least two adults per room.

All of our recreation is considered "challenge by choice." This means that you are not forced to do something you don't want to do. Example: if heights aren't your thing, there are other options, on the ground, for you to enjoy.

Medical Needs

We take several medical professionals with us on the trip. If you need medication or if you have an accident while you're at camp, we have you covered.

Middle School Students

We know that being an upcoming 7th grader and attending camp with high school students can be intimidating. We take extra effort to make sure that middle school students are taken care of. Lodging, recreation, and small groups are all separate. The times we are all together are meals, worship, and late night.

Packing List

We will post a packing list here as we get closer to camp. There will also be physical copies available at the parent meeting on June 28.

White Water Rafting

We will raft on the Ocoee River with the rafting company,  Adventures Unlimited. Students must be 12 years old by July 8, 2020 to be able to raft. If a student is younger than 12, or they choose not to raft, we will have an alternative option for them during that time.  Download the rafting waiver here.
